About this course
In Jungian psychology, the "shadow" is the place where all our rejected parts live. But these are not necessarily negative parts. In fact, they're often our most unique and special parts.
Essentially, they're the parts of ourselves that, when very young, we deemed to be a threat to our love, safety, and belonging in whatever family or culture we were raised in. So we "othered" these parts, disassociated ourselves from them in our effort to secure the love, safety, and belonging we needed.
Unfortunately, this means we also severed ourselves from our full human selves and in many cases, some of our greatest gifts.
In this program, I'll explain the complex ideas of Shadow Work (which is often misunderstood and oversimplified in pop culture). I'll take you through a process of identifying your shadow aspects and then of gradually, steadily integrating them.
This process will help you create a mature three-dimensional ego that embraces the entire human spectrum, as opposed to a narrow, immature ego that creates limitations and conflict. This is work to do overtime, but this program will set you securely on the right path.

- We'll meet on a live Zoom call on Sundays Oct 11, 18, 25, and Nov 01, 08, & 15, from 9-10:30am PT. (Convert your time zone here.) The calls are recorded so it's no problem if you miss any of them.
- We'll begin with a clear and thorough overview of what Shadow Work is and where it comes from. (Shadow Work is often oversimplified and misunderstood in pop culture.) I'll then take you step by step into a process of uncovering your Shadow aspects and integrating them back into your life in beautiful, powerful ways.
- The format of the teachings will be a variety of live, written, and audio teachings. You'll be given practices, prompts, and contemplations to work with between calls. And we'll have abundant group discussions to work through the course ideas deeply.
