WELCOME
I’m Julia Frodahl, and I offer a garden of teachings for people interested in deep inner work that restores self-love, presence, and belonging for the individual and the collective.
We do slow, honest work here. Work that heals at the roots and deeply transforms the way you think, feel, and live.
Most of this work takes place within 5-10 week group programs held throughout the year. These containers include deep, transformative teachings about the inner life, live calls with me, and a supportive community to grow with. Within those spaces, you’ll find both new students and many returning students who come back to peel away another layer. This diversity creates a beautiful support system with richness and depth.
If you prefer to work more quietly alone, there are self-study options. (Please see below for both.)
I also offer selective private Inner Work for those who want more personal guidance and support.
However you may choose to connect, it will be my pleasure to help you access your own wisdom, and move forward with clarity, confidence, grace, and courage.
INNER WORK IS WORLD WORK
A core philosophy of mine is that Inner Work is World Work. Each step you take toward healing, self-awareness, and open-heartedness positively affects every space you enter -- the home, the workplace, your neighborhood, the art gallery, or the forest.
The most lasting and effective way to create a better world is for millions of individuals to become healed and more conscious. And because our mental health is shaped by the environments we live in, the care we bring to the world eventually becomes the care that holds us. Our own lives become re-nourished, and we flourish.
This is why I encourage you to invite your friends into the spaces offered here. The more people around you doing this work, the easier it is for you to stay with it.
WHERE TO BEGIN?
JOIN THE NEXT GROUP PROGRAM
The best way to begin is to join us for the next group program. Each offering has its unique way of healing and opening you up. But they all work together, just like water, sunlight, and rich soil work together to give rise to beautiful things -- each playing a different role, and each one vital. In the group programs, you'll enjoy live calls with me, and a rich community of others who are also engaging with their Inner Work.
NEXT GROUP PROGRAM:
LOVING THE WORLD
WITHOUT LOSING YOURSELF
A 6-Week Compassion Immersion
Starts April 5th, Sliding Scale $100-$220
In this warm-hearted program, we cultivate self-compassion as the first step toward building a more compassionate world.
“I stumbled upon this class at my lowest point in recent memory, hoping for a tool or two to chip away at the darkness that had dogged me for years. [After this course], I felt seen. I felt more at peace with myself and others; I felt more hopeful and more willing to hope. I cannot recommend this course enough.”
__ Amanda J.
OR, ENTER ANY SELF-STUDY PROGRAM
Self-study programs allow you to work independently whenever you feel called. Self-study programs include the same lesson and practice content as the group versions, but do not include live Q&A calls with Julia or a community component.

PRIVATE INNER WORK
For those wanting more personal support and guidance, I offer private Inner Work on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. The minimum initial commitment is three months, so that the work has enough continuity to be meaningful.
My private practice is rooted in compassion, Buddhist wisdom, neuroscience, and Western psychology (primarily Jungian and Process‑Oriented approaches). I also incorporate modalities such as hypnosis, brainspotting, and Somatic Experiencing.
I work remotely with individuals, as well as couples, and other family pairs.
